Casting changes
•Emily Mae Young has been recast as Lilly Foster-Lambert, replacing Lauren and Kristina Meyering •Bronson Pinchot has joined their series regular. •Josh Byrne announced to depart from the series after six seasons. •Sasha Mitchell, is no longer part of the series.
Network changes
•ABC decided to delay this season to the 1996–97 mid-season (premiering March 7), in order to make room for Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Clueless, which joined established series Family Matters and Boy Meets World as part of TGIF lineup. •This was the last episode on ABC, after TGIF's Miller-Boyett Production had contract expired due to the merged of Capital Cities to Walt Disney Company, then both shows (including Family Matters) are moving to CBS for the "CBS Block Party" on Friday nights.
