In late 2011, Shaw Media announced that History Television would rebrand as a Canadian version of History as part of a brand licensing agreement with A+E Networks, in which The Cave would rebrand as a Canadian version of H2 and Showcase Diva would also be rebranded as a Canadian version of Lifetime in late 2011.
