Ali Al Salem Airbase Ali Al Salem Air Base is a military air base situated in Kuwait, approximately 37 km from the Iraqi border, and roughly 15 km west of Al Jahra.The airfield is owned by the Government of Kuwait, and hosted the Royal Air Force, United States Air Force, and United States Marine Corps personnel and aircraft during Operation Southern Watch and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Ali is one of the most cush deployments you could get. Base has everything you’d need. Schedule may be a bit more intense than home but there’s no traffic, no errands to run and everything is close together. I mean there’s a pool (at least back in 2013 😂) so that should relax you about any jitters you have.
