The Holy Prophet (S) is reported to have said to Imam Ali (‘a), When the Angel of Death descends to take the soul of an unbeliever, he carries with him a skewer made of fire. He thus pulls out the unbeliever’s soul with that skewer so violently that even Hellfire cries.
