Jul 17, 2022 · Jul 19th, 2022 12:24 pm. Years ago (like 1980’s) I seem to remember a magazine called “Canadian Consumer” which was kinda like CR but specific to Canadian products. I don’t think it lasted long. CR lost credibility to me after it was exposed that they rigged the Suzuki Sidekick rollover test to make it fail. Reply.
In general I have had a subscription to Consumers Reports online and have used it a few times when buying appliances. I mainly used it in 2019 when we were renovating our old kitchen, and in 2020 when we had to buy a new dishwasher, and a new refrigerator. I have shared the password with friends and family as well.
