“The muse scam is a new variant of the fake check scam. The scammer will contact the victim over social media and claim to want to use their image for an art project. Tiertex Design Studios was a software developing based in Macclesfield, England, UK. Founded in 1986, it mainly focused on porting video games to home computers and handheld consoles. The company closed its doors on 5 August 2021, and was dissolved on 5 November the same year.[1]
