Oct 23, 2020 · 20 votes, 37 comments. true. i contacted the support an they said , if you activate prime for a month , you need at least 13.99 $ on your credit card balance ( first month is free but you must have that amount ) or else you can activate 7 days for free but also you must have 4.99$ on your balance . and your phone number added on amazon must be the same in your credit /debit card.
Any time Prime Gaming is mentioned there this argument that it is costing Twitch money, etc. but I wonder if it is just as simple as Amazon covering this expense on paper (ie. accounting). It will ask you for some one time passcode that is sent to your phone number and after that go back to your prime gaming and try activating it! Hope it works for you! I missed out on so many good stuff over the past few months and Amazon support was not helping ...
