Learning Management System: Brightspace Learning and teaching. Brightspace by D2L is a cloud-based collection of learning tools that allow students to experience interactive online learning.
Course Site | Brightspace. After signing in, you will see your account page. Choose Courses from the left menu (or under Active courses on smaller screens). Student services contain links to commonly used learning tools such as Brightspace, Zoom, Teams and a wealth of other services related to registration, grades and records, etc. Are you a current student with questions about using Online tools? Go to bright.uvic.ca or click the Brightspace link on UVic Online Tools. Log in using your NetLink ID and passphrase. If you don’t have a NetLink ID or have forgotten your passphrase, contact helpdesk@uvic.ca. You will find all sites you have access to under “My Courses” Courses organized by term (e.g. Fall 2021) or category (e.g. My Supports).
Your NetLink ID is your personal username and passphrase that you’ll use throughout your time at UVic. You’ll need your NetLink ID to access all of UVic’s online tools and resources. This includes: Wi-Fi on campus; online resources like Brightspace and Microsoft 365; UVic email; library databases; student and employee records
It is a single-login site that gives members of the UVic community access to secured information on the UVic network (finance reporting, student reporting, human resource reporting, web requisitioning, etc.), course registration, email, and much more.
