The fact that singer David DeFeis doesn't have the vocal power as in the 90s should have become known by now - 40 years of heavy metal just leaves its traces. But he has learned to deal with the limitations and adapts his singing.

For the uninitiated, the band had a string of keyboard-heavy burners in the 80s when it wasn’t cool to have guitars and keyboards in the same room unless your last name was “Van Halen.”
