Walt Disney Cartoon Classics: Limited Gold Editions was a series of compilation videos of Disney cartoon shorts first released on 1984 in VHS and Betamax. A second series followed in 1985, which was also released on Laserdisc. (Unfortunately, the Laserdiscs of the first series were only released on Japan and are extremely hard to find.) The first series of Walt Disney Cartoon Classicsspanned from 1983 to 1986, with each volume containing up to seven shorts. Each video in this series began with a short intro sequence set to the opening credits music from Morris, the Midget Moose and Hooked Bear.
