  8. "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun" is a strange little (space) oddity. Coming out just as the American new wave is starting to flourish this film still has one foot dipped in that 50's style of optimism. There's still a sense of reverence to space exploration. However, the other foot is firmly planted in the growing sense of cynicism of the time.
