The Winter Holiday (2021) was an event in Adopt Me! that began on December 1, 2021. It lasted for 35 days, ending on January 6, 2022.
The event brought new limited pets, toys, and vehicles to the game, as well as an Advent Calendar and two new minigames.
Ice Skating
This minigame takes place on the lake of Adoption Island. In this game, the player has to skate on ice while avoiding the Penguins, which can slow the player down when ran into - they make the player stumble over, rendering them unable to move for a few seconds. As the player skates, they can collect Gingerbread by running into the animated gingerbread shapes. These shapes disappear upon collection. Each shape is worth 4. The player can get up to 640 each run. This minigame was also present in the Winter Holiday (2020) and Winter Event (2022).
Pet Rescue
This minigame was located in the Winter Village. Players were randomly assigned into one of 2 teams, Team Sabertooth and Team Mammoth. The 2 teams competed with each other to be the first to break their pet free from a block of ice in two minutes, which was a Sabertooth and Woolly Mammoth for Team Sabertooth and Team Mammoth, respectively. Players were given a pickaxe, which was used to chip away the ice and free their team's pet. After enough hits, the ice block started to slide across the ice and players must chase after it to continue chipping away the ice. The ice block gained the ability to knock players down, temporarily stopping them from chipping away the ice. There were also Penguins on the ice that knocked players down as well. Players could receive a maximum of 1,200 in one game. This minigame returned in the Winter Festival (2023).
Present Shuffle
This minigame, along with the Pet Rescue Minigame, is located in the Winter Village. In this game, Burt puts either coal or gingerbread in the five presents. Three presents contain gingerbread and the other two contain coal. Then, he shuffles them up. The player has to avoid opening the gifts containing coal and try to focus on the gingerbread. There are a total of three rounds in each game of present shuffle. During each round, the presents switch spots 6 times, and you can choose 3 presents to open. You can get a minimum of 150 if you do all three rounds by getting 2 coal presents and 1 present with 50 each round. You can also get a maximum of 1,200 in one game.

The Lunar New Year (2021) was an event in Adopt Me! that began on February 2, 2021, and ended on February 23, 2021, at 5 PM EST. The event brought new Lunar New Year-related items to the game, including pets, vehicles, and toys, all of which could be bought at the Lunar New Year Stand, which was located across from the Coffee Shop and in front of the Playground.
