In the v26.00 release, we’ve introduced a new “Max Used” bar on the memory thermometer located at the top of your screen in Create mode. Now, no matter where you are on the island when you place a device, the Max Used bar will show the effects of adding that newly placed device.
Sep 26, 2023 · Custom lobby backgrounds will be coming in the v26.30 update. You’ll also see the new Fang Spawner, allowing creators to add the powerful Fang vehicles from the Last Resort season of Battle Royale. The Automated Turret from Strongholds also makes an appearance, with lots of customization options.

Happy Birthday, Fortnite! This year, Fortnite Battle Royale turns six years old. To celebrate the momentous anniversary, there will be cake, birthday presents, and balloons... yes, really!
Birthday Cake slices have been Unvaulted. Eating a slice will recover both some Health and some Shield.
It's not a birthday with presents. Birthday Presents! can be found in ground loot and Loot Chests. Hit a Birthday Present! with a Pickaxe to loot the items inside.
Let's get floaty. Balloons are back and can now be found in ground loot or Loot Chests. Use a Balloon to grant yourself a "floaty" effect, allowing your jumps to jump higher, while staying suspending longer in the air.
A new Reality Augment joins the bunch, the Jump Balloon augment. Once activated, you will automatically get a Balloon automatically whenever you jump. Keep jumping and you can acquire up to four balloons to reach even taller heights!
The following Reality Augments have been Unvaulted and will be added back into the Reality Augment rotation:
•Shell Slide
A new set of Birthday Quests have been added to celebrate the 6th Fortnite Anniversary. Complete at least five different Birthday Quests to unlock three new birthday-themed rewards plus a ton of extra XP.
Quests will be available to complete up until September 26, 2023 at 12 AM ET.
•Birthday Presents! are not included in tournaments.
•In tournaments, Balloons are only obtainable from the Jump Balloon Reality Augment.
