Revealed at Minecraft Live, the pale garden is a new and mysterious biome coming to the Overworld. Animal mobs won't spawn here, but step inside and you'll discover groves of pale oak trees, curtains of hanging moss, and a startling new foe that calls this unsettling setting home: the creaking.
In this week's snapshot we are adding a new experiment which will allow you to experience the Pale Garden, a new eerie biome filled with Pale Oak Trees and Hanging Moss. Beware of its sole inhabitant, the Creaking, and don't blink!

As part of the 23W31A Snapshot for Minecraft Java Edition, changes to the way that Librarians and Wandering Traders trade were implemented. So how do they now work?
This snapshot introduces a new experimental Feature Toggle that updates the Wandering Trader and Librarian trades. The changes are as follows:
Before these changes, players could get any village enchantment from any Librarian. This could lead to a sense of randomness and trading felt inconsistent and overpowered at times. With the new rules, Librarians from different biomes sell different enchantments, and each village biome has one enchantment that is only sold by master Librarians.
*These villages do not generate naturally. Players must build a village in this biome to access these trades.
**This enchantment is only available in Java Edition.
To boil it down to the basics:
•Librarians from different biomes now sell different Enchanted Books
•Each village biome has one special enchantment that is only available from Master Librarians with full XP
As for the Wandering Trader, many felt that the prices were unfair and useful items were rarely for sale. As such, the prices have now been lowered, and new trades (in higher amounts) are available! The Wandering Trader will also now buy useful items from players.
The basics are:
•Wandering Traders now have lower prices and have a higher amount of each item in stock
•Wandering Traders now sell Logs
