SFU’s Fall 2021 Convocation will be held Oct. 5-8. It will be the university’s first in-person convocation since 2019.

The university was once again recognized as Canada’s top comprehensive university by Maclean’s Magazine, a ranking shared with the University of Victoria in 2021. SFU anticipates 70–80% of courses will be taught on campus. Reopening protocols include enhanced cleaning practices and reimplementing student amenities and programs.
