EASY POKEMONS. Let's say you have a Delphox. Using the Ditto you recovered, you will easily get yourself a nice, 1GP Fennekin egg. But now, the Ditto will probably be close in genetics or something. Plus, it's a 0GP Ditto, quite useless. Hatch the egg, and then using the Starmies, fuse Ditto to become a 1GP Ditto at Dooriver's research lab.
This game looks great, I love the overworks tilesets, the Pokemon look great, etc. I'm very excited to play this. Pokemon as a company sacrifices so much creativity and freedom for a uniform and lucrative experience, and the fan game community does so much work for unique, diverse, and creative adventures because it's their passion.
The issue with Pokemon Empyrean is that even though so many mechanisms are interesting the "major ones" are just plain boring. Cards, Platinum Pokemon and GP all are just straight up stat increase. There was no need to make 3 versions of card. Just the 1.25 times stat increase would have been enough and GP is just IV's but worse.
