Atari800 now includes Altirra BIOSes for all emulated systems: 400/800, XL/XE, and 5200; as well as Altirra BASIC. It is now possible to use the emulator without providing any ROM images.
The Atari 800 could also receive up to 4 9-pin D-type joysticks on the front ports of the machine. The joysticks used were the standard type used on the Atari 2600 VCS . Although the 800 could be connected to a standard TV with the antenna cable, it included a 5-pin DIN connector on the right side to connect a high-resolution color monitor.
