- Diamond generation is fixed. Minecraft 1.17 update brought no new biome or world generation changes, but the diamond ore generation was still affected.
- Blue axolotls spawning naturally. Blue axolotls are the rarest type of axolotls in Minecraft. They were supposed to be obtainable only via breeding. However, blue axolotls did spawn naturally in the Java Edition.
- Walking through water constantly switched player from walking mode to swimming. The 1.17 update added a weird bug where flowing water would force a walking player to swim.
- Jump boost effect doesn't affect goat's long jump. Goats are another new mob added in the 1.17 update. Other than hitting mobs and players, goats can also jump high up to 10 blocks.

- Axolotls start revolving around axolotls. Axolotls are one of the cutest mobs in Minecraft. This hilarious bug makes them run around the players at a fast speed.
- Goats causing lag. Goats are the new mob added in Minecraft 1.17 update. While being cute, they are also quite mischievous. Goats will ram their heads at players/mobs and deal knockback damage.
- Water in the nether. Almost all Minecraft players know that water cannot be placed in the nether realm. Before 1.17, players could only put water in a cauldron.
- Amethyst shards float after breaking amethyst block. In Minecraft 1.17, Mojang has added a new underground structure called amethyst geodes. These geodes have an inner layer made of amethyst shards, blocks, and budding amethyst.

Jun 8, 2021 · As with most Minecraft updates, there are quite a few bug fixes and minor changes to make gameplay more efficient and less glitchy. The Minecraft 1.17 Caves & Cliffs Update is no exception.
