Unfortunately, Detroit isn't the best place for dine-in Indian food. Detroit Masala is great but is carry-out only. Midnight Temple in Eastern Market is also tasty but I'm not sure if they have indoor dining either. Maya's Indo-Pak was supposed to reopen at Woodward and Palmer but that seems to have been delayed.

Neehee's is consistently good, and there's even another place called Desi Pizza in the same strip. Try Urban Tawa nearby, whose clientele is 95 percent Indian. Try the Sam's Samosa Monster if they have it. I also like Kurry's in Farmington Hills—mostly buffet.
