Kids ages 6 to 12 can ride free on MiWay with a PRESTO card set to pay the Child fare type. Children ages 5 and under can also ride free on MiWay when they are accompanied by a fare paying customer. To set the fare type on a PRESTO card, please visit a Customer Service Outlet and show proof of age.
You can also load a virtual PRESTO card for free to your mobile wallet (the virtual PRESTO card is not available for children 12 and younger to load). This card works the same way as a physical card. You can set a specific fare type, load funds or a monthly pass and easily tap it to pay your fare.
