Part of Sheffield museums. Free entry. Small fairly expensive cafe. (All tables reserved when we went and too cold to eat outside). Fully recommend the museum itself which tells the history of the industry. Thoroughly enjoyed the day. Will go back again in better weather and take a picnic and flask.

The Sheffield Botanical Gardens is a 19-acre park in the heart of the city that showcases over 5,000 species of plants. It's a lovely place to wander, especially in the spring and summer when many of the plants are in full bloom. There are glasshouses and Victorian gardens among other attractions. Utterly beautiful.

16 Shepherd Wheel. Shepherd Wheel is a heritage museum in Porter Brook valley, Sheffield, England which tells the story of the water-powered steel industry in Sheffield. It's one of the earliest examples of these facilities and is also a Grade II building and Scheduled Ancient Monument.
