We never thought we were going to get this truck, we went to bid on a 379 pete and 3 w-900 but this truck came up first and we got it at a price we thought was good.

  3. Jan 13, 2009 · 0. I drive a 4900 and it is tandem. We own 2 WesternStars. A 2006 and a 2007. Both are 4900 series. We are looking at a 2007 4964 series and we can not figure out what is difference. Sales staff is clueless as well. I looked at WesternStars site and it does not explain the difference either. It does explain what a LOW-MAX series is but not a 4964.
