The requirements for an acceptable medical school and acceptable medical degree are defined in the Model Standards for Medical Registration in Canada. Candidates must have obtained or be expected to obtain an acceptable medical degree from an acceptable medical school to be eligible for Medical Council of Canada services and assessments.
