Natural generation
The player automatically starts with 3,047 blocks of stone on their island.
Mining
Stone rocks naturally spawn in the Hub and on Slime Island. Mining a stone rock grants 4 - 6 stone and 3 MiningXP (6 with the 4x daily bonus) per stage, resulting in a total of 8 - 12 stone and 6 Mining XP (12 with the 4x daily bonus) per rock. Additionally, mining a wild rock on the player's islandwill drop 1 stone. Mining a fossil rockgrants the player ?-? stone.
Totems
Stone totems can be purchased from Arius in the Hub for 2,000 coins after reaching level 10 Mining. A stone totem will spawn stone rocks around it when placed, or if placed next to a conveyor belt, the totem will drop stone directly onto the conveyor.
Transforming
Stone can be transformed into stone bricks in a stonecutter or an industrial stonecutter, or into smooth stone in a polishing station or an industrial polishing station.
Totem upgrading
Stone can be used to upgrade mineral totems.

However, if the pickaxe used to mine the ore is enchanted with Silk Touch, the ore will need to be smelted or re-mined with a non-Silk Touch pickaxe in order to obtain an evolution stone.

Blocks are placeable objects that exist outside the player's inventory. Players can use blocks to build up their island. Technical blocks are blocks which serve various purposes during events within the game, or are unreleased/unused in-game. These blocks cannot be obtained in the player's inventory through normal gameplay and can only be spawned in through the use of exploits or by a developer.
