    • Visit the Museum. Our museum chronicles the difficulties and triumphs two countries overcame to build a symbol of freedom. The museum contains an immersive theater, and various historical artifacts including the original torch from 1876, and allows visitors to share what liberty means to them through interactive panels.
    • Park Ranger Guided Tours. Park Rangers provide English-language guided tours throughout the day. Programs start at the flagpole and visitors should expect to be walking or standing for 35 minutes.
    • Self-Guided Audio Tours. This self-guided tour helps visitors learn about the Statue of Liberty while exploring the grounds of Liberty Island as well as the Statue's museum.
    • Visit the Pedestal. The Statue of Liberty's stone pedestal was designed by famed architect Richard Morris Hunt who designed it to complement the Statue of Liberty rather than overwhelm it.

    Valley of the Gods features a landscape similar to Monument Valley. It may not be quite as spectacular, but it also has much less tourist traffic. If you like scenic drives and want to leave the crowds behind, put this spot on your list.

    This rock formation is named for its Mexican Sombrero-like appearance. You can see it from US-163 on the drive to the Valley of the Gods. If you want, you can hike up onto the formation.

    For a view of the San Juan River snaking through a canyon, visit Goosenecks State Park. Imagine two Horseshoe Bends right next to one another! You will pay a $5 entry fee and it is a short drive to the viewpoint.

    This short but scenic drive is located very close to Valley of the Gods. Moki Dugway is an unpaved road that is carved into the cliffs, offering stunning views over Utah and Valley of the Gods.
