With iCloud, you can create an iCloud Mail address and send and receive mail on all your devices. You can also keep Mail settings up to date.
If you subscribe to iCloud+, you can set up a custom email domain to personalize iCloud Mail.
The first time you sign in to a device with your Apple ID and turn on iCloud Mail, you can create a primary iCloud email address. Any emails you send or receive at that address are stored in the cloud, which frees up space on your device. You can send and receive emails on any device that has iCloud Mail turned on, including your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, and Windows computer. You can also access your iCloud Mail in a web browser at iCloud.com.
Because your mail is in the cloud, changes you make on one device—like sorting mail into folders, marking an email as unread, or deleting an email—automatically appear on all your devices. You see the most up-to-date version of your mail, no matter where you access it.
When you turn on iCloud Drive in iCloud settings, you can also store your Mail settings in the cloud. This way, you can keep your mail signatures, VIP contacts, Smart Mailboxes, and more, up to date on your devices. The settings that stay up-to-date depend on the device you’re using.
