Molly was a housewife most of her life. It doesn't necessarily mean that Molly was magically weaker, but it does mean that Molly doesn't have the same skill at combat. In real life, just having muscles ( physical power) means little in the world of professional combat. I think the same rule can be applied in the world of Harry Potter as well.
