  1. May 31, 2015 · Bellatrix then proceeded to taunt her even further and went into this typical villain speech and did not expect or anticipate a sudden attack from Molly, perhaps thinking that instead of Molly becoming more intent on killing her, she can make her grieve or more angry to the point of distractedness.

    Background

After the Battle of Hogwarts recommenced, the arrival of the Hogwarts Centaur herd, Grawp, and the shopkeepers and homeowners of Hogsmeade forced the battle to move inside the Castle, with duellers being forced into the Great Hallby the charging forces.

    The duel

Fifty yards away from Lord Voldemort, who duelled against Minerva McGonagall, Horace Slughorn and Kingsley Shacklebolt, Bellatrix Lestrange started a duel against Hermione Granger, Ginevra Weasley and Luna Lovegood, all three girls combining their best efforts to defeat her. Despite not using her personal wand, Bellatrix still proved herself to be equal in power to the three of them. During the duel, Bellatrix shot a Killing Curseat Ginny. Bellatrix's curse narrowly missed Ginny, sparing her...

    Aftermath

After her body toppled to the ground, an outraged Voldemort blasted away the three opposing duelists he was fighting and turned his wand on Molly. This prompted Harry Potter to cast a Shield Charm between the two and in the process reveal himself. Voldemort and Harry circled each other and the final showdown between themensued. Voldemort, attempting to kill Harry, cast the Killing Curse, and Harry a Disarming Charm. The Elder Wand refusing, to harm its true master, rebounded Voldemort's curse...

  2. This is very memorable scene where Molly Weasley calls Bellatrix Lestrange a bitch before murdering her: Voldemort was now dueling McGonagall, Slughorn, Kingsley all at once, and there was a cold hatred in his face as they wove and ducked around him, unable to finish him - Bellatrix was still fighting too, fifty yards away from Voldemort, and like her master she dueled three at once: Hermione ...

  3. Molly was a housewife most of her life. It doesn't necessarily mean that Molly was magically weaker, but it does mean that Molly doesn't have the same skill at combat. In real life, just having muscles ( physical power) means little in the world of professional combat. I think the same rule can be applied in the world of Harry Potter as well.

    • IN "CURSED CHILD", SHE AND VOLDEMORT HAD A DAUGHTER. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child dropped a major revelation: Bellatrix and Voldemort have a secret illegitimate daughter together.
    • HER WAND IS KNOWN TO BE UNYIELDING. Wands with dragon heartstring produce the most flamboyant spells and easily are turned to the Dark Arts. Bellatrix lost her wand in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in the fight at Malfoy Manor when Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Dobby escaped with it.
    • SHE WAS AN OCCLUMENS. Occlumency is the art of magically closing your mind against Legilimency, or mind-reading. It's a rare and difficult skill. Snape calls it "An obscure branch of magic, but a highly useful one" in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
    • BELLATRIX CARVING "MUDBLOOD" INTO HERMIONE'S ARM WASN'T SCRIPTED. In the scene in which Bellatrix tortures Hermione and interrogates her about Godric Gryffindor's sword, she carves "mudblood" into Hermione's arm with a knife.
  4. Molly Weasley (née Prewett) (b. 30 October[1] 1949 or 1950)[2] was an English pure-blood[4] witch and matriarch of the Weasley family after marrying Arthur Weasley.
