It is situated at Sheffield Park station on Platform 2. (There is no extra charge to visit the museum). Many of our visitors can remember travelling on steam trains and a few can even recall being evacuated during the Second World War. Our museum is a wonderful place to re-live these memories. Come and operate the signal box.
Getting to Sheffield Park. Sheffield Park Station (TN22 3QL) is the ideal starting point to explore the Bluebell Railway, conveniently located on the A275 East Grinstead – Lewes main road. Well-signposted from the A22 and A23 trunk roads. There are also several bus services that go to the station on weekends.
The Bluebell Railway Museum is situated on Platform 2 at Sheffield Park station (the most southerly of the four Bluebell railway stations). The museum is open on days when there is a scheduled train service. Admission is free to visitors with train or platform tickets.
