   • It should provide the same benefits (fundamental research/modeling for optimizing portfolios), without the overhead/learning curve. It also won't cost 25k.    Is capiq a good tool for fundamental analysis?

   • Yes. Have been using CapIQ for about five years. Great for fundamental analysis. It definitely requires some time investment, but the Excel plug-in and customer support are excellent. FactSet is one of their closest competitors. We recently saw a demo of one of FactSet's new (ish) products.
