There can be many reasons a guy feels “busy” – he’s ambitious in his career, he’s juggling a busy social life with work, he’s feeling under pressure financially…it doesn’t matter. What he really means to say loud and clear that he doesn ...

  2. Dec 16, 2023 · It makes sense if he says this right before leaving for work or an appointment. He has to get moving. On the other hand, if he says without the need to actually pause the conversation, then it means he just wants to get it over with. You’ve probably been having that conversation for some time, and he is tired.

    • “I Don’T Care!”
    • “She’s Just A friend.”
    • “Look, I’m Sorry.”
    • “I Don’T know.”
    • “I Think We Should Consider Hitting The gym.”
    • “I Was Kidding!”
    • “I Didn’T Even Notice her.”
    • “I’ll Call you.”
    • “Can We Talk About This Later?”
    • “It’s A Guy thing.”

This means, “I’m trying not to make such a big deal of the matter since you’re probably already going to do what you please.” In the meantime, let’s forget about this situation and focus on something else. Whenever you’re ready to have a favorable conversation, you can bring this conversation up again.”

When a guy tells you another girl is just a friend, it means, “Yes, I’m attracted to her, but I can’t really do anything about that attraction now because of you. It doesn’t change the fact that I’m still attracted to her, but I still want to be with you.”

If he says this, then it means, “I know I probably offended you, and you’re angry, but let’s move past this argument, and focus on something else instead, because I don’t think I can argue much longer.”

If he says this, then the interpretation is, “What I actually mean is my answer might easily be misconstrued by you, so I’m doing mybest to avoid answering the question as much as possible. I actually have the answer, but I’m not really sure I should tell you.”

If he says this abruptly, it means, “I’ve noticed your weight gain for some time now. But I have no clue how to bring it up without offending you. Requesting that we hit the gym is just a reasonable substitute.”

When a guy says this, it means, “There was a bit of truth in what I said, but I really expected you to take it as a joke. But now that you didn’t, I take back my statement, while trying to convince you that I was only joking.”

If he was checking someone out, and you caught him, and he said he didn’t even notice her, what he really means is that, “Yes, she’s very attractive, but I’m trying not to offend you by admitting I was checking her out.”

When a guy tells you he’ll call you, he probably isn’t going to. This might sound contradictory to the fact that guys are pretty straightforward, but the truth is, guys would tell ladies what they want to hear at times, in order to go undisturbed.

What he really means is that “I really have no intention to continue talking about this subject. Let’s forget about it for now, and I hope it never comes up because I’m really not up to talk about it again.”

He simply means. “Don’t take it too seriously. I promise it’s not as serious as it sounds. I probably would have explained it to you, but it would be hard for you to understand itas plainlyas I would say it.”

    • “You’re out of my league.” If a man ever admits to being out of your league, he’s probably right. Men like to use this phrase as a compliment to flatter women, but it contrarily reveals their incompetence.
    • “I just don't want to hurt you.” If a man is already predicting any chance of hurting you, there’s a likely chance that he will, if he hasn’t already.
    • “Think what you want.” Some men unfortunately suffer from low emotional intelligence, which explains why they are unable to understand the thoughts and feelings of their partners.
    • “My exes are all crazy.” While there are a fair share of "crazy" exes out there, if a man ever tells you his ex (or worse, all of his exes) are crazy, there’s a good chance he’s the one at fault.
  3. It's a nonsense phrase that ended up sticking. It means whatever you want it to mean. "According to Poison guitarist C.C. DeVille, the phrase "Unskinny Bop" has no particular meaning.
