Stairs are a variety of items that allow players to ascend or descend floors in a house, they can be purchased in Build Mode. Added in Version 0.8.5, players can now place a variety of wall objects on stairs. Players can also place fences onto stairs to create railings and increase the height of elevators by using the hotkey B/N on PC devices. Some furniture items can be placed on U-Stairs and L-Stairs.
The listed price for all elevators is the price for a two-story elevator. For every story added, the price will increase by half the original price. For instance, a two-story Standard Elevator has a price of $30,000, so a three-story Standard Elevator will have a price of $45,000 and a four-story will have a price of $60,000.
