As the ink indicator gets low (as yours indicate) you may want to consider having a replacement on hand so you can continue if the print quality starts to deteriorate.
Check ink or toner levels regularly to estimate how much ink or toner remains. When ink or toner becomes low, consider purchasing replacement supplies to have on hand. Install a new cartridge or reload toner when the ink or toner is depleted or no longer provides acceptable print quality.
Resolve a low ink message or alert. If you see an ink alert but are satisfied with the print quality, you can clear the message and continue printing. HP recommends having replacement cartridges available to avoid printing delays. Note: Ink Alert and Low on Ink messages are calibrated for genuine HP cartridges.
