After defeating the Elite Four, you're officially in the post game of Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. This post game guide covers everything you can do after beating the Pokemon League and becoming Champion in Pokemon BDSP, including how to catch every in-game Legendary Pokemon and more.

There is tons to do after completing the main story. Buckle up! Your journey as a Pokemon master is just starting.

If you're just interested in Legendary Pokemon, see how to catch each of them in this slideshow - otherwise, keep reading:

Here is a list of everything you can do in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl post game, in the order in which you can (or should) do them.

    1.Capture the Lake Guardians

    2.Unlock the Catching Charm

    3.Unlock the Oval Charm

4.Unlock the National Pokedex (And Poke Radar)

    5.Challenge the Battle Tower

Remember the trio of Legendary Pokemon Team Galactic captured to create the Red Chain? Now that you've freed them, they've returned to their corresponding lake and are available for capture - though you technically could have done this before taking on the Elite Four.

You can find Uxie in the Acuity Cavern of Lake Acuity, Azelf in Valor Cavern of Lake Valor, and Mesprit in Verity Cavern of Lake Verity. The latter, however, will flee and roam the region when encountered.

One of the first things you want to do after defeating Tap to Reveal is to see the first 145 Sinnoh Pokemon—you might've seen the majority of them if you've been battling all trainers since the beginning of the game. If you're missing several Pokemon, use our Sinnoh Pokedex page as a guide to their location. Drifloon is a common missing one, as are the Lake Guardians mentioned above.

For the opposite Box Legendary Pokemon (Palkia for Brilliant Diamond and Dialga for Shining Pearl), you can unlock their Pokedex data by speaking to the Celestic Town Elder.

The Poke Radar is a Key Item you need to equip to use, like the Bicycle for example, which will then show shaking grass. See Poke Radar Pokemon to see all the Pokemon exclusive to this method and more information.

There are a few things to get at Hotel Grand Lake, found between Route 213 and Lake Valor (see the image above). Head inside the building - a pool is out front - and talk to the Game Director upon seeing every Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex. He'll give you a Catching Charm, which increases the chance you'll get an immediate critical capture.

Inside the same building, talk to the man with the guitar to unlock the original DS sound effects. Turn it on by flipping the switch on from the Key Items pouch.

GAME FREAK's Morimoto can be found just outside the Hotel Grand Lake building, swimming in the pool. He's one of the most challenging post game trainers in the game, and will fight you as soon as you've entered the Hall of Fame. Defeat Morimoto to get the Oval Charm, a Key Item that increases the chance of an Egg being found at the Pokemon Day Care in Solaceon Town.

He is arguably stronger than Cynthia, with a team comprised of the following Pokemon.

    •Spiritomb (Lv.63)

    •Ambipom (Lv.64)

    •Hippowdon (Lv.64)

    •Vaporeon (Lv.65)

After defeating the Elite Four, Barry will call you to meet with him at the Fight Zone. You can do this immediately, but you won't be able to do anything there except the Battle Tower without the National Pokedex first.

The Fight Zone is an area north of the Pokemon League accessible by taking a boat in Snowpoint City. Talk to the sailor on the southernmost section of the city, and he'll take you to the Fight Area—the home of the Battle Park and the Battle Tower.

The Razor Fang is a held item that increases crit chance, but it also evolves Gligar into Gliscor. Get one for free on the ground at the Battle Park, or earn 5BP at the Battle Tower to buy one.northeast

  5. As for new projects, I'm working on an original new RPG at the moment (more details and demo are available in the discord), and as fangames go, I might do a prequel for Empyrean at some point down the line! But we'll see how will everything go :)
