The Winter Event (2022) was an event in Adopt Me! that began on December 1, 2022. It lasted thirty-five days and ended on January 5, 2023. The map was remodeled in this event to be candy-themed.
This event brought to the game new limited pets, vehicles, and toys, a new building (the Candy Castle), four new minigames (two in the first week and one in the second and third week), and an Advent Calendar, which took place in the span of twenty-five days starting on December 1 and ending on December 25.
Ice Skating
During this event, the lake was frozen and players were able to skate on the ice instead of swimming in the lake. As players skate, they were able to collect Gingerbread by passing through the gingerbread shapes on the ice, which disappear when collected. Each gingerbread shape collected was worth 12. There were also penguins that moved around on the ice and would slow the player down if bumped into. The maximum amount of Gingerbread players could receive from one ice skating session was 1,920, if they collected all of the gingerbread on the lake. This activity was also present in 2020 and 2021. However, unlike previous years, players had to have be in-game when the Gingerbread shapes regenerated, instead of it automatically regenerating when players are online every in-game day.
Snowball Fight
In this minigame, players were sorted into two teams. Each player had three lives, denoted by pink origami hearts; when they were hit by a snowball, they would lose a heart. After the minigame, the winning team would receive 2,500 and the losing team would receive 1,500, or if it is a tie, both teams would receive 2,000; players would get extra Gingerbread for each hit they made. Players had to reload snow with small shovels in order to make a snowball during the minigame. The maximum amount of Gingerbread a player could get from this minigame is 3,700.
Frost Bridge
This minigame was added in week 2 (December 8). In this minigame, players had to cross a path with clear blocks; some of these blocks would crack when stepped on, dropping the player. The goal of the minigame was to get to the island platform that held a pile of Gingerbread.

•Although in 2019 this event was called the Christmas Event, during 2020 and 2021, it was referred to as the Winter Holiday. In 2022 it was referred to as the Winter Event in the Adopt Me! YouTube channel and Twitter. This is due to the events not focusing on Christmas but more on the winter season.
•The Winter Event (2022) was the first event in Adopt Me! to have 4 minigames: Ice Skating, Reindeer Race, Snowball Fight, and Frost Bridge.
•In the first hours of the Winter Event (2022), players saw unreleased pets like the Ram and Ice Wolf in the journal. Adopt Me! later removed the pets from the journal.
•The Winter Event (2022) was the first event in Adopt Me! to have 3 Robux costing pets: the Ice Wolf, Strawberry Shortcake Bat Dragon and the Snowball Pet.
•Players could not purchase Gingerbread with Robux on the last days of the Winter Event (2022). If players attempted to do this, a pop-up would appear saying that the player could not buy Gingerbread this close to the end of the event.
•The RB Battles Event was also hosted during this time.
