Although the Scriptures teach women to be in a support role, as helpmates submitted to God’s authority in their lives, this does not in any way mean that we are weak or less than men in God’s eyes. Women throughout Scripture who walk with God are valiant and courageous for Him. Consider Deborah (Judges 4:4), Rahab (Joshua 6:25), Esther (book of Est...

Aug 15, 2021 · For example, there are several creation myths that envision a female creator born of water; others describe a snake Goddess who created the world. By the time writing appears during the Bronze Era (which began roughly 3,000 BCE), we finally begin to know the names of some of these powerful Goddesses: Isis, Inanna, Astarte, Asherah, Tiamat, Nammu, Demeter.
Mar 13, 2018 · A woman does not innately lean toward deceiving—or being deceived. All humans are sinners, but that does not mean that the ways in which our first parents transgressed serves as a prototype illustrating gendered actions for all men and women for all time. So all men are not bald-faced rebellers, and all women are not easily deceived.
Oct 11, 2019 · Habit #1: She is a God-Defined Girl. She doesn’t allow the culture to define her worth, identity and value as a girl. She looks to God’s word for truth (Psalm 119:1-8). She understands that she is made in His image and handcrafted to look exactly the way she does. She looks to God’s word for answers about her design and purpose as a female.
