- Don’t love money. Money in itself is not evil, but the love of money will always lead to trouble. Jesus said in Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other.
- Because of Jesus' resurrection, you can live a forgiven life. Because Jesus went to the cross and overcame death, His forgiveness can turn your failures into acts of faith and faithfulness.
- Because Jesus has risen, you can live a meaningful life. The apostle Paul drove this home in First Corinthians chapter 15. He said, "Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 15:58).
- Because Jesus' resurrection displayed unimaginable power, you also can live a powerful life today. The core message of the book of Ephesians is that the same power that brought Jesus back to life is available to you.
