- Grow Older Guiltlessly. Growing older guiltlessly doesn’t mean, “Do what you want and don’t feel bad about it.” Rather, it means living in light of our forgiveness in Christ and not condemning ourselves.
- Grow Older Gently. As older Christians, we might be kind to and tolerant of others and reserve the harshest criticism for ourselves. A frustrated, elderly man berated himself because he couldn’t figure out how to use a new television remote controller.
- Recognize that not everyone lives as long as you do. Friends, if you live long, then you're blessed. You experienced more, learned more, lived more. Think about that.
- You receive more opportunities to experience and share God's love. While it's true that we get older with each day that passes, it's also true that God's mercies are made available for us with each passing day.
- It simply means God is not done with you yet. Friend, the fact that you're still alive today simply means that God is not done with you yet. He's not done changing you, fixing your life, blessing you, and using you for His glory.
