It’s simply referring to the fact that the design was the one that was originally given to people who booted up the game for the first time. Many people will call something OG if it is the way they experienced it for the first time.
Sometimes I also use OG when talking about Olive Garden if I don’t wanna type the whole name. To me it specifically stands for "OriGinal or Original Gamer" or something like that. But regardless it specifically refers to the early days of fortnite, usually from Chapter 1 Season 1 - 3. It just means original.
