We were immature, naïve, and perhaps irrational. But when we grew up and understood life better, our perspective changed. We “put the ways of childhood” behind us.
On one hand this is the most natural thing for a Christian to do. On the other, learning and growing in God can seem like another job to do, another life aim we might feel like we fail at sometimes.
