Discover a number of hidden secrets, Easter Eggs, and cheats in this Stardew Valley Cheats and Secrets guide. Whether it be spawning items, changing the title screen, unlocking secret weapons, or finding mysterious creatures, IGN's Cheats and Secrets guide will have you covered.

Listed below, you'll find a complete list of every Easter Egg and hidden secret that is available to find in Stardew Valley.

Stardew Valley allows you to name your character anything you want, which you can exploit for this cheat (that works on all systems, including Switch!). Instead of a name, you must name your character using a string of 1-3 item code values, each surrounded by brackets (for example, you might name your character [611][577][532] or just[72].

Naming your character with these values will cause the items you indicated to spawn in your inventory whenever your name is referenced within the game.

Note you can also do the same thing when naming an animal you are buying, but that only works the one time. We recommend purchasing a chicken and naming it with a value of something you really need.

Here are some high value items (that you can sell):

    •30 - Lumber

    •60 - Emerald

There are a few things you can do to change how to title screen looks, for example:

•By clicking on the letter E 10 times and an alien will show for a brief moment.

•By clicking on any of the leaves 10 times, three Junimos will appear on the screen

•By clicking 10 times on the lower right screw of the letter "W" butterflies will appear on the screen

•A little happy face will appear by clicking the bottom-left corner of the title box a few times. You can then click on the hole present in the letter R to place the happy place there

•When you use a controller, you can press B or O to make the clouds move quicker (this only works when you see the two birds flying)

After going to bed in-game, you'll be in a menu where you can see everything you've shipped that day. If you keep your eyes open and fulfill certain conditions, you'll be able to see a few special animations while on that menu, for example:

You'll learn about these collectibles by finding an unreadable Lost Book. After solving the puzzle, just place the items required in the locked boxes scattered around the valley.

After donating to the Museum all four Dwarf Scrolls, you'll receive the Dwarvish Translation Guide. This item will allow you to understand the language of the dwarves and communicate with them.

With this Translation Guide, you'll now be able to read the unreadable tombstone in the Graveyard, so go ahead and do that. The text will guide you to The Desert, specifically the area that has the set of three pillars. All you have to do is stand in the center of the pillars while also holding a Prismatic Shard. Doing so will unlock the Galaxy Sword.

You'll learn about this secret item by finding Secret Note #13, as the note contains detailed instructions on how to find the Junimo Plush.

Nevertheless, to get this item, wait till it's the 28th day of any season and right-click at exactly 12:00 pm on the bush that's in the northwest corner of Pelican Town.

By fishing in certain - and sometimes unusual- locations, you'll be able to catch Secret Fishing Presents, which will be either a hat or a unique furniture piece. There are 12 presents in total.

After the Strange Capsule event has triggered, there's a 1% chance you'll see a shadowy and dark creature waving at the Bus Stop or running behind bushes and trees in Pelican Town.

    • 0 – Weeds.
    • 2 – Stone.
    • 4 – Stone.
    • 16 – Wild Horseradish.
  3. Mar 20, 2024 · There are two ways to use item codes in Stardew Valley. Both require using codes and naming either your player character or an animal in the code. You can enter three item codes surrounded by brackets. Once done, it should look like this [413] [104] [442]. Whenever a character says the name of the code string you used, these items will be added ...

  4. Aug 5, 2021 · Now you'll be able to hit 'p' at any time during your game to open up a dedicated Stardew Valley cheats menu, which will allow you to enable all sorts of wonderful cheats such as: Infinite Health and Energy.
