For instance, there are 18 mm and 24 mm "C" engines-- the 18 mm are the common C6-"whatever" and the old C5-3 from Estes, for instance, but Estes ALSO make (made) a C11-"whatever" engine, which was 24 mm, so it would NOT fit in a rocket made for 18mm motors.
