   • When the "THX" logo is in the middle of the screen, the starfighter is on top of it and zooms off. The entire trailer then pixelates into a black background, a shiny "THX" logo, and the byline "CERTIFIED GAME" in the Interstate font. The finished logo shines. Technique: 2D mixed with CGI.

   Is Thx a good game?

   • THX Environmental (immersive) is better in general but it seems like some frequencies are articulated weirdly. Mids (1kHz) seem to be blown out which makes weapons sound weird and flat. Sounds seems to be more blended direction-wise, harder to distinguish which is coming from where Might stick to the old surround mode for this game tbh.

   At least I could see it being an option, using this updated THX spatial option on 5.1 and 7.1 games with the developer-tuned profiles, and switching to Dolby Atmos for games that support spatial audio. Thanks for all the info, let's see if the list of THX game mode games grow and it doesn't end up just being some gimmick.
