Spa 88 in the city is pretty good too and is generally less crowded. I looked at the price and it's $50 which is more reasonable. The food there is pretty decent as well from what I remember. The atmosphere isn't as great but it's a little more quiet.
I called several times to confirm the reservation prior to our arrival and referenced back to what happened 3 weeks ago. The front desk said that they are aware of our reservation and we have nothing to worry about.

Sorry to hear that happened to you. I won’t claim Spa 88 is a bastion of enlightenment (it’s in FiDi after all), but it usually has a less seedy, grimy vibe than 10th St in my experience. Maybe that’s not saying much.
