My parents both grew up watching the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and the Disneyland TV show, and were eager to bring their young family to Walt Disney World. There were only a handful of resort hotels and one theme park back then. We stayed at the Contemporary Resort, in one of the Garden wings.
