Sep 4, 2024 · In a special election that will coincide with the Nov. 5 general elections, Jody Fix and Stanley Coffey will be vying to fill the last year of an unexpired four-year term on Buena Vista City Council. Fix and Coffey turned in the necessary paperwork prior to the Aug. 16 deadline to get their names on the ballot for this special election.
Nov 16, 2023 · Two challengers and one incumbent led the Buena Vista City Council race last week. Ronald Cash, Michelle Poluikis and incumbent Council Member Steve Webb won seats after all precincts’ votes were counted, according to the Virginia Department of Elections.
