If you want to take your game to the next level you’ll want to make sure that your gear is up to scratch. This goes for things such as your mouse and headset, but the mousepad is also a vital part of your setup. Different pads can have all sorts of different characteristics, and finding the one that’s right for you can greatly enhance your comfort ...

Fortnite pros use a wide variety of pads, but they do have one thing in common across the board: all of them are at least large sized pads. That’s something that we’ve seen in every game that we’ve analyzed so far, and it makes sense as well. The average eDPI of professional players is much lower than that of most ‘casual gamers’, which means that ...

If you know a bit about mousepads you might know that the Zowie G-SR is a very, very controlling mousepad with an extremely slow glide. This can lead people to think that the G-SR-SE is just a recolor of that pad with the same glide characteristics since the ‘SE’ stands for ‘Special Edition’ but that’s not the case at all. The Zowie G-SR-SE is a pa...

If you have never ventured out looking for premium mousepads, you likely haven’t heard of Artisan. Artisan is a premium, enthusiast brand focused mainly on mousepads, so it’s understandable that a lot of gamers have never heard of them. Over the past year or two, however, the brand has been making big waves in the professional gaming scene, and the...

A lot of companies produce XL version of their mousepads, but Glorious have taken that whole concept up a notch and have created the table-sized 3XL. At a whopping 122 x 61 centimeters it’s by far the largest mousepad in this lineup (and, according to Glorious, in the entire world) so you can rest assured that you’ll never run out of space with thi...

Gaming mousepads usually come in black and, if you’re lucky, a couple of extra colors and perhaps some limited edition designs. If you don’t like any of those designs and you want something that shows a bit more personality than a plain black pad you’re mostly out of luck, except if you play on an Inked Gaming Custom Mousepad. There are a lot of co...

Razer has delivered solid peripherals for esports, and mousepads are no exception. The Razer Gigantus V2 is the successor to the Gigantus. It’s quite different and objectively better than the last iteration if you ask us, but it’s good to know that this isn’t a direct successor when it comes to glide, as the V2 is more focused on control. The Gigan...

The G640 is one of those pads that’s quite popular across a variety of games. It’s also perhaps the most ‘industry standard’ pad in this list due to its medium glide and standard size and thickness. The G640 isn’t the most exciting mousepad in the world, and we wouldn’t recommend this to people who already know what they want when it comes to the o...

The Logitech G840 is the extended version of Logitech’s G640 mousepad. This is an ideal option for gamers who want a mousepad with average gliding characteristics in an extended size. The surface of the G840 is the exact same as the surface of the G640, so the only difference between these two mousepads lies in the size.

SteelSeries mousepads are extremely popular across all games, and the QcK+ is one of the most popular pads from the brand’s offerings. What you’re getting here is a mousepad that has a glide that’s a little on the slower side (at least when compared to most ‘standard mousepads’ from other brands) in an inexpensive and very widely available package....

  4. That's just how we humans generally learn and process things, and building with Mouse and Keyboard in Fortnite is no different. There's generally a cap to how much time per day you can actively train something and still get good training because you need that off time and sleep cycle to process it and build the "muscle memory" as people often simplify it to.

  5. If you see your mouse and keyboard prompts while using a controller when you play Fortnite on PC, you can try disabling the On-Screen Keyboard from Windows Settings: Open Windows Settings; Navigate to Accessibility Settings; Go to Ease of Access (or Accessibility) Scroll down to Keyboard; Make sure the Use the On-Screen Keyboard option is ...
