There is not a specific matching transmitter to the S-76, but there are several Hallicrafters transmitters that were commonly used with this model, such as the HT-17 or HT-18. To the OP, radios of this age often have bad capacitors in them.
Dec 13, 2015 · The plant on 5th avenue in Chicago has been rehabbed and is now a furniture warehouse. The developer was going to preserve the lower case "h" logo under the peak of the roof. It is not visible now, but may be hidden behind new signs.
My dad is doing a Hallicrafter’s S-120 restoration. First radio he used in the 1960's and has 1966 stamped on the chassis as build-date. The manual that was in the package had this advertisement with it.
