The grass_carried block was a block unique to the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft. At first glance, this grass block looks like any old patch of grass in the game, but it actually has small differences, particularly in the top part of the texture, which has a different color from the regular one. It also doesn't function at all like a grass block. Ins...

Back before the Aquatic Update of 1.13 was but a whisper on fans' lips, corals were introduced into the game. Mining these corals without a Silk Touch pickaxe resulted in this generic dead coral block to drop, which had nothing to do with the original texture of the coral. Players might be familiar with lava and water source blocks. These are, essentially, blocks where a specific liquid flows from, and when this block is replaced with a solid block, the source is destroyed and the liquid disappears. Long before Minecraft was even properly released, lava and water both had infinite blocks that would create source bloc...

The gear is somewhat of an odd block. There's nothing quite like it in Minecraft today, whereas most of these other removed blocks have something similar to them in the game. Gears didn't have a specific use, but what made them special was their animated texture, which was a rarity for Minecraft for a long time, aside from liquids like lava and wat...

If this block looks awfully familiar, it's because it's almost a perfect copy of the dead bush block that's currently in the game. However, the shrub and the dead bush have very different uses, and within the game belonged to different categories, which means they were once meant to be two different things. The shrub could actually drop seeds when ...

These innocent-looking chests were part of a small April Fool's joke from Mojang when the Beta edition of Minecraftwas around. Locked chests would naturally spawn in the world in brand-new chunks, and would actually lead players to the Minecraft Store with the hope of finding a key for the chest. The store would feature a few cool items for players...

  3. If you want xp, then there are way better and easier farms for bedrock that are impossible on java. I believe that its a wierd bedrock quirk that makes the leaves not hold the water but act like a source block, but maybe there is a workaround. try putting signs on the sides.

  4. Oct 31, 2024 · Leaves. For the removed Pocket Edition block, see leaves_carried. For the item often referred to as "alpha leaves", see Invalid Data Value Leaves. 7. AdamG3691. •. Waterlogging and flowing water are different mechanics, Waterlogging only occurs if you pour a bucket into a block, you place the block into a water source, or a source block forms on it. Flowing water still breaks things, the only plant that wouldn't be removed is the one you poured the bucket onto.
