Mar 17, 2021 · Today, we’re announcing new measures to keep Facebook Groups safe. To continue limiting the reach of people who break our rules, we’ll start demoting all Groups content from members who have broken our Community Standards, anywhere on Facebook.
The first step in protecting your Facebook Group from getting banned or shut down is to control who is accepted into your group. Most admins know this and deploy a strict membership approval process. But others still accept people randomly, in hopes of increasing Facebook Group growth.
