So here is what happened. I got GTA V from Epic games and linked it to my RGSC account in September last year. I couldn't play the game on my potato laptop and I ended up forgetting the password to my RGSC account. last month, the email with which I registered to Rockstar games, got hacked and I lost access to it as well, so now I can't change my password.
Don't delete your Social Club account if it's linked to your Steam account, I attempted to unlink my Steam account, so I had to request a ticket just to unlink it but after some e-mails I learnt that if you unlink it from each other, you won't be able to play GTAV via Steam account nor Social Club account and you can't link another account to them since they are permamently linked.
No, as i said, you won't be able to play GTA V (or any Rockstar Games that uses Social Club) if you don't have the Social Club account associated with the cd key that Steam provides. You can't buy the game twice on the same Steam account in order to get a new key.
